The two shelters, the old, present since 1884 and the new, opened in 1961, represent the ideally  location for ascents, both spring and summer towards the chain of Gran Paradiso.
Located in the beautiful Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, the new shelter offers a service inn combined with the old structure.
